What kind of feedback helps most

Because this is a reference resource, the feedback we value most is the kind that makes it more accurate and more useful to readers. Some examples of genuinely helpful messages include:

• A factual correction — a date, name, place, or figure that we have got wrong, ideally with a reputable source we can check.
• A point of nuance — a place where our wording is misleading, oversimplified, or could be read as taking a side on a contested question.
• A matter of respect — anything in our description that a member of the tradition would find inaccurate or discourteous, so that we can reconsider it.
• A suggestion for further reading — a well-regarded book, article, or scholarly source that would strengthen the material.

We read messages about the content thoughtfully and update the pages when a correction is warranted. We cannot promise an individual reply to every message, but every substantive note about accuracy or fairness is genuinely considered.
